‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, the cocktails were stirring deliciously without a doubt. When what to my wondering eyes did appear but four spirited concoctions to bring on the cheer!
Jingle Juice: 1½ ounces vodka, 1½ ounces Chambord, ½ ounce limoncello, ¼ ounce grenadine, 1½ ounces club soda, peppermint stick. Combine vodka, Chambord, limoncello, grenedine and club soda in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with a peppermint stick.
Holly Jolly Folly: 4 ounces ginger beer,
4 ounces cranberry juice cocktail,
2 ounces dark rum or vodka,
Juice of ½ lime,
fresh or frozen cranberries.
Combine ginger beer, cranberry juice, rum, and the juice of 1/2 a squeezed lime in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well. Pour into a copper mug filled with crushed ice. Top with cranberries and garnish with a lime wheel.
¼ ounce peppermint liqueur,
½ ounce chocolate liqueur,
½ ounce vodka,
1 cup hot chocolate,
peppermint candy cane for garnish.
Add peppermint liqueur, chocolate liqueur, vodka and hot chocolate to a sauce pan. Heat mixture then pour into a mug. Garnish with whipped cream and a peppermint candy cane.
Frost Yourself: 2 ounces unsweetened coconut milk, 2 ounces silver tequila, 1 ½ ounces triple sec, ½ ounce lime juice, ½ cup ice, cranberries and rosemary for garnish. Combine coconut milk, tequila, triple sec, lime juice and ice in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.
