LET’S TAKE A PAWS…
It’s the DOG DAYS of summer and we’re stirring up some MEOWVELOUS cocktails, to cool you down as temperatures heat up!
Diamond Dogs
1½ ounces sapphire gin, 1 ounce fresh lime juice, 1 ounce simple syrup, ¼ ounce blue curaçao, 4 to 5 thin slices of cucumbe
Muddle cucumber, lime juice, simple syrup and blue curaçao in a shaker until the cucumber dissolves. Add ice to the shaker to fill it halfway. Shake gently and then strain into glass with ice. Garnish with thin cucumber slice.
Eye Of The Tiger
1½ ounces vodka, 3 ounces lemonade, ½ ounce blue curaçao, ¼ ounce grenadine, Lemon slice for garnish
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, blue curaçao and grenadine. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Strain mix into glass over ice. Slowly pour lemonade over mixture. Garnish with a lemon slice.
Pink Panther
½ cup freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice, ¼ cup lime juice, ¼ cup ginger ale, 1½ ounces white rum, Rosemary and grapefruit slice for garnish
Combine grapefruit juice, lime juice and white rum in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Pour into glass and top with ginger ale. Garnish with rosemary and grapefruit slice.
When Doves Cry
2 ounces cream of coconut, 2 ounces coconut rum, 1 ounce fresh lime juice, 4 fresh mint leaves, 2 cups ice
Place cream of coconut, coconut rum, lime juice and 3 mint leaves in a blender with 2 cups of ice. Blend on high setting until completely smooth. Garnish with a mint leaf.
