Decadent Drinks for Dad

Every Dad deserves to feel appreciated on his special day! From rum and vodka to gin and beer, these lively libations will put a smile on his face and make his Father’s Day fabulous.

Cigar Chaser – 2 ounces white rum, 4 ounces chilled cola, 2 lemon wedges, ice cubes, mint leaf. Fill a highball glass with cubed ice. Squeeze and drop the lemon wedges into the glass. Pour in rum and top with chilled cola. Using a barspoon, stir gently until well mixed. Garnish with a mint leaf.

In The Doghouse – 2½ ounces vodka, 1 ounce blue curaçao, 1 ounce white cranberry juice, ½ ounce fresh lime juice, 3–4 dashes orange bitters, lemon peel and mint leaf for garnish. Combine vodka, blue curaçao, white cranberry juice, lime juice and bitters into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a tall glass over ice. Garnish with a lemon peel and mint leaf.

Where’s The Remote? – 1½ ounces gin, 1½ ounces Campari, 1½ ounces sweet vermouth, orange peel for garnish. Combine gin and Campari into a rocks glass with ice and stir well. Add vermouth and mix. Garnish with an orange peel.

Manmosa – 4 ounces light beer, ¼ cup fresh squeezed orange juice, 1 ounce vodka, 4 ounces champagne, orange slice for garnish. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka and orange juice and shake well.Pour the mixture into a pitcher, then stir in the beer and champagne. Garnish with oranges and serve immediately.
