Covington natives Jennifer Marie Senner, daughter of Michael and Darci Senner, and Paul Joseph Swett, son of Philip and Linda Swett, were married in a destination wedding at the Los Suenos Marriott in Costa Rica on February 14, 2016.

WHAT MADE YOUR WEDDING SPECIAL?
Costa Rica holds a very special place in our heart for many reasons. It is the first place Paul and I got to know each other. We spent our first Christmas together there. I have gone there with my family for many years. And we went to a wedding there before we got engaged and just knew this place was where we wanted to have our celebration!
DID YOU HAVE A WEDDING PLANNER?
We tried to do it ourselves, but the language barrier became a problem! I used a wedding planner through the Los Sueños Marriot Resort in Jaco, Costa Rica named Cassandra Azofeifa. Between sending a million Pinterest pictures and having her on the ground, it came out perfect!
TELL US ABOUT YOUR DRESS.
My bridal gown was designed by Elie Saab. I felt it accentuated my femininity while still being sophisticated, airy and a little bit glam.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MOMENT OF THE RECEPTION?
My favorite part of the ceremony was our first dance! We did not go traditional and just had so much fun with it. We could not stop smiling.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE DETAIL?
My favorite detail, besides the scenery, had to be our centerpieces that were built out of driftwood and had crystals and orchids hanging from the branches with glass vases at the bottom.
DID YOU HAVE A GRAND EXIT?
We had an exit planned but Four Unplugged played until the resort basically shut us down, so we ended up on the stage, thanking all of our guests and then getting into a golf cart and rolling to our condo for the night!
