When Disaster Strikes We’ll Be Ready

With your support, NHS is leading disaster relief animal rescue in our area. We respond immediately to the desperate calls from shelters affected by natural disasters, whether the need is for essential items or the transport of animals from harm’s way. 

In the past five years, Northshore Humane Society has saved hundreds of animals from storm-ravaged shelters, rescuing them and transporting them to our safe haven. Each animal is fully vetted by our medical team. They are given shelter, food and essential care until their forever families are found. 

Through the compassion of donors like you, NHS is leading disaster relief in our area and is able to step up and save animals in need during dire situations. However, our work is never done.
