Dazed and Confused | 1¾ ounces rye whiskey, ¾ ounce fresh lemon juice, ½ ounce simple syrup, ¼ ounce absinthe, 1 egg white, bitters. DIRECTIONS: Combine whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, absinthe and egg white in shaker with ice. Shake ingredients until the drink is chilled and very foamy. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Drip a few drops of absinthe on the drink’s surface.
Can’t Feel My Face | 1½ ounces vodka, 1 ounce Blue Curaçao, 1 ounce sweet & sour mix, 1 ounce grenadine, 1 ounce cranberry juice, lime and orange zest for garnish. DIRECTIONS: Fill a shaker with ice and pour in vodka, Blue Curaçao, sweet and sour mix, grenadine and cranberry juice. Shake 20-30 seconds until cold. Strain into ice-filled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime and orange zest.
Once Bitten, Twice Shy | 12 ounces Mexican beer, 2 teaspoons hot sauce, 2 tablespoons lime juice, ¼ teaspoon horseradish, splash of adobo sauce, salt and chipotle powder to rim glass. DIRECTIONS: Add dashes of chipotle powder to salt on a plate and mix well, then rim a high-ball glass. Combine hot sauce, lime juice, horseradish and adobo sauce, then put into glass. Add cold beer.
Start Me Up | ½ ounce simple syrup, 2 ounces rye whiskey, 2 dashes orange bitters, orange peel, fire. DIRECTIONS: Combine simple syrup, whiskey and bitters in a rocks glass with ice and stir. Rim the glass with the orange peel, then squeeze the peel over the glass. Release the juice and carefully ignite. Drop into the cocktail.
