Thanksgiving is a time for us to set aside our worries and take a moment to be grateful for all that we have. Regardless of what life throws our way, many of us are lucky enough to have food, water, shelter and all of the familiar comforts of our daily lives.
When you and your loved ones gather together this year to eat and give thanks, please take a moment to remember the many animals in our community that are not so fortunate. Here at the Northshore Humane Society, we are saving more homeless cats and dogs than we ever have before. The cost to provide food, proper medical care, housing and more to all of our animals has a significant impact on our nonprofit organization.
Northshore Humane Society rescues thousands of neglected and abandoned animals each year, but we can’t do it alone. This holiday season, we need your support!Â
On average, it costs $13.90 to feed a homeless animal for a month. While seemingly insignificant, with over 200 animals under our care at our adoption facility and in foster homes, your donation makes a true difference.
