Dad’s Famous Cajun Burgers


Gayden likes them big, thick and spicy!


1 lb ground meat. (I like to use lean ground meat but for more flavor use ground round or chuck.)

½ cup of Italian breadcrumbs

Tony Chachere’s to taste

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 egg

1 small onion finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced


Combine all ingredients in a bowl using your clean hands to mix. Form patties to whatever size you like. Grill or fry in the skillet at medium heat. Remember, if you make them oversized and thick like dad, it helps to cook a little slower so they are completely cooked through the middle. Serve with BBQ sauce or your favorite condiments and Gran’s mac and cheese.
