Class Action Cocktails

CLASS ACTION COCKTAILS and no judgement is what you’ll get when you stir up these collateral concoctions. Set the precedent for fun where the verdict is certainly not guilty!

PUT THE COGNAC ON ‘EM | ¾ ounce rye whiskey, ¾ ounce cognac, ¾ ounce sweet vermouth, ½ ounce Benedictine liqueur, 1-2 dashes orange bitters, Cherry and orange slice for garnish. DIRECTIONS: Combine whiskey, cognac, sweet vermouth, Benedictine liqueur and orange bitters in a mixing pitcher filled with ice. Stir well. Strain into an ice-filled old fashioned glass. Garnish with a cherry and an orange slice.

ONE DRINK STANDS TALL | 1 lemon, quartered, 6–7 fresh mint leaves, 2 ounces white rum, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1½ cups soda water, Lemons and mint leaves for garnish. DIRECTIONS: Muddle the lemon, fresh mint leaves and sugar in a shaker. Add the white rum and stir. Fill a tall glass with crushed ice, then pour the mixture over ice. Top with soda water and garnish with lemons and mint sprigs.

LAST CALL, THAT’S ALL | 1 ounce vodka, 1 ounce sour apple liqueur, ½ ounce green apple syrup, 1 cup ice cubes, 1 green apple, thinly sliced for decoration. DIRECTIONS: Pour vodka, sour apple liqueur and green apple syrup over ice in a shaker. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds to combine. Strain the mixture into an extra-chilled martini glass. Garnish wih a thin apple slice.

ARE YOU A WRECK? GET THE CHECK | 2 ounces coffee liqueur, 1 ounce cinnamon vodka, 1 ounce vanilla vodka, 2 ounces of cola, Espresso beans for garnish. DIRECTIONS: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour in the coffee liqueur, cinnamon vodka and vanilla vodka. Shake well for 15-20 seconds. Strain the cocktail into a rocks glass, then top the drink with the cola.
