BOO-YAH! From a pumpkin flavored sweet treat to a bloody good savory sensation, these cocktails will help you welcome the cooler temperatures and celebrate the fall season. Try some of our tricks and give yourself a treat with our to-die-for cocktails!
THE GREAT PUMPKIN—1½ ounces vanilla flavored vodka,
1½ ounces Irish cream liqueur, 1½ ounces pumpkin flavored liqueur, 1 cup ice cubes, nutmeg and cinnamon, dollop of whipped cream – Combine the vanilla flavored vodka, Irish cream liqueur and pumpkin flavored liqueur in a cocktail shaker. Shake until ice cold. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with cinnamon and nutmeg. Top with whipped cream and serve.
WITCHES BROOD—1½ ounces vodka, 1 ounce blue curacao, 1 ounce sweet and sour mix, 1 ounce grenadine, 1 ounce cranberry juice, lemon peel garnish – Combine vodka, blue curacao, sweet and sour mix, grenadine, and cranberry juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until combined. Strain into a chilled glass and add ice. Garnish with lemon peel.
TOIL & TROUBLE—1 ounce rye whiskey, 1 ounce sweet vermouth, 1 ounce Cynar, ice cubes, 1 lemon twist, Pinch of salt for garnish. – Combine the whiskey, vermouth and Cynar in a chilled glass. Add ice cubes and stir. Squeeze the lemon and add to the glass. Garnish with a pinch of salt.
FIRST BITE—2 ounces vodka, 4 ounces tomato juice, ½ tablespoon lemon or lime juice, 1 splash Worcestershire sauce, 3 dashes hot sauce, 1 teaspoons horsradish – Stir gently and pour all ingredients into highball glass. Garnish with celery, olives, cherry tomotoes or any other pickled vegetables.
