Wow! What a Response!

Thank you to everyone who submitted entries for our Pets with Personality Contest! We asked our readers to submit photos of their pets for the 2018 contest and the response was overwhelming! Our Facebook fans voted for their favorite in each of the four categories: Laziest, Best Dressed, Face Only A Mother Could Love and Most Talented.

Congratulations to Turbo, Rocky, Allie, and Gracy…and their proud owners! Since they bring so much love and happiness to your homes, we think all your pets are winners!

LAZIEST – Turbo is a beautiful black labrador who started her life in training to be a hunting retriever. However, her trainer said she didn’t have the heart for it. She came to live with us in her fur-ever home. She’s our girl and has a heart full of love, loves to play catch, cuddle and go everywhere we go. Owner – Kathy Lowery

BEST-DRESSED – Rocky is a 6½ year old lovable Bernese Mountain dog. He is a giant teddy bear! He was a Christmas present for our youngest son. He comes from a household with two other well dressed siblings. Rocky’s favorite thing to do is play with his pup friends at Camp Bow Wow. Owner – Scarlett Dalton

FACE ONLY A MOTHER COULD LOVE – Allie was surrendered to the Northshore Humane Society by her previous owner for being “too old.” She was then adopted by her current family, who have a deep love for senior rescue animals. She was recently diagnosed with cancer, so each day they have left with her is a gift. Owner – Ashleigh D’Addezio

MOST TALENTED – Gracy found her way into our hearts a year ago. She was only a kitten when found in the middle of the road in the wee hours of the morning. Gracy is an extremely smart cat and self taught. We noticed her observing the toilet, and before we knew it, she was using it herself. Owners – The Hunt Family
