Mom’s Day Out (or In!)
All mothers deserve to feel special all month long! With ingredients and flavors as unique as she is, these perfectly pretty Mother’s Day cocktails will help her relax and celebrate!
Respect Your Elderflowers
1½ ounces vodka
1 ounce lemon juice
½ ounce elderflower cordial syrup
5 ounces soda water
Elderflowers for garnish
Fill a tumbler glass with ice cubes. Combine vodka, lemon juice, elderflower syrup and soda water in a shaker and mix well. Pour into ice-filled glass. Garnish with elderflowers.
Mother’s Little Helper
1½ ounces vodka
½ ounce lime juice
½ ounce cranberry juice
6 ounces lemon-lime soda
Lime slice and rosemary sprig for garnish
Add vodka, lime juice and cranberry juice to a shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled for 20 seconds. Pour into glass filled with ice. Top with lemon-lime soda and garnish with a lime slice and rosemary sprig.
Because I Said So
1½ ounces vodka
1 ounce crème de cassis
½ ounce simple syrup
¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
4 ounces Champagne
Lemon slice and blackberries for garnish
Add vodka, crème de cassis, simple syrup and lemon juice to a shaker filled with ice and shake for 30 seconds. Pour into a high ball glass and top with the Champagne. Garnish with a lemon slice and fresh blackberries.
Butterfly Kisses
3 teaspoons butterfly pea flower tea
1 cup hot water
1½ ounces vodka
1 ounce lemon juice
1 ounce simple syrup
Lemon wedges & fresh lavender
Steep butterfly pea flowers in hot water 5-10 minutes. Set aside and cool. Add vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup to an ice-filled glass and stir. Pour in butterfly pea flower tea. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh lavender.
