Sandy Dutruch was virtually born with a green thumb. Her parents started the family nursery business three decades ago. When they retired, Sandy and her husband stepped into their shoes. Since 1993, their retail location, Garden Spot of Mandeville has been the place to go to turn that plot of dirt and weeds into the garden of your dreams.

Selling everything from annuals and perennials to shrubbery and trees, the Garden Spot has everything local gardeners need. They even grow their own annuals at the family nursery in Bush. The Garden Spot is open seven days a week, year round and is located at 2100 North Causeway Boulevard in Mandeville and at 1023 Williams Street in Franklinton.
