Patrick Gros, CPA

Patrick J. Gros graduated from the University of New Orleans in 1994. He completed and passed all parts of the CPA exam in 1995 and became a Certified Public Accountant.

He accepted a position in the audit department of Arthur Andersen upon graduation. He worked for Andersen through 2001, performing both financial audits and technology consulting services for clients. In December 2001, he formed his current company and has been President of Patrick J. Gros, CPA, A Professional Accounting Corporation, located in Covington, LA, for over 10 years. His firm consists of 13 employees providing various services concentrating in the areas of outsourced accounting services, bankruptcy reporting, tax consulting and preparation, and compilation/review services.

The Firm specializes in the industries of restaurant, hospitality, construction, professional services and healthcare.

Besides the designation of Certified Public Accountant, he holds the designation of Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA, inactive).

He has been married for over 21 years to Kimberly Gros.  His hobbies include boating and wine collecting.  He is a member of the AICPA and the Louisiana State Society of CPAs, in which he holds a committee member positions in the Small Business committee.  He is a past board member and past president of the Northshore Chapter of CPAs.  He is also the Past President (2011) of the Northshore Estate Planning Counsel.  In addition, he holds a position on the board and/or finance committee for several charitable organizations.  His Firm is a member of the Louisiana Restaurant Association.
