Coping With Covid-19

Written by:

Necessity is the Mother of Invention, and we’ve checked in with some of our Northshore’s Best to see how they are creatively coping with business challenges and safely adapting to the new norm.

“We have maintained responsible, normal clinic operations with stringent cleaning, screening and distancing protocols for any patients that need therapy. We also added Teletherapy for those patients who are not safe to come into the clinic. For the public, we are providing free, daily one-minute stretch videos and a complete selection of online group fitness classes to keep them healthy.” Matt Slimming | Star Physical Therapy

“Immediate changes included giving all team members an N95 mask. We implemented drive-through care–simply enter our turnaround, then text us to come get your fur baby. During treatment, we FaceTime, text photos and send home a visit report. Each patient is wiped with Pure cloths and delivered back to mom.  Checkout is no touch via phone, and we                   offer telemedicine and phone consultations.” Ashley Geoghegan “Dr. G” | VetNaturally

“We are still able to operate and serve our clients at a very high level. Our company implemented virtual tools several years ago, and this put our agents in a unique position to handle most real estate tasks online. We are able to perform virtual consultations, wire funds, collect e-signatures through Docusign, and offer virtual tours of properties, just to name a few.” Mitch Crayton | NextHome Real Estate Professionals

“We are supporting our patients by offering virtual visits so they can receive our care without leaving their homes. We have set up a tented area for parking lot acute care visits that include COVID 19 testing, and we offer supplement delivery and curbside pick-up options. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive immune therapy in the comfort of your own car.” Dr. Devan Szczepanski |DS Family Medicine Group

“For fuel customers, we dedicated an employee to disinfect our pumps including handles, key pads, and buttons. Then we added a full-service fueling option at no additional charge, so customers don’t have to touch the gas pumps at all. We even sanitize the credit card. Carwash, Oil Change, State Inspection Station, Convenience Store, PJ’s Drive-Thru and Fuel are open 7 days a week.” Marc Delery | Blue Harbor Pointe

“As you can imagine, social distancing and chiropractic don’t typically fall into the same field. Maintaining a safe environment means the world right now. Caring for my patients during this time has been made possible by taking extra time for sanitation around the office, as well as spacing patient appointments to prevent crowding. Anthon Chiropractic Care will always be here for our patients!” Dr. George Anthon | Anthon Chiropractic Care

“While working remotely, we provide clients email updates on their cases along with phone and video conferences. The entire office attends at least two weekly meetings via Zoom to discuss cases and any challenges. We provide our community with current COVID 19-related information including blog posts, newsletters and even a free, public webinar to discuss the current legal landscape.” Kristen Stanley-Wallace | Stanley-Wallace Law
