Behind the Scenes

We met up with our Enterprising Woman Michelle Demarest Sunseri at Air Salon and Blow Dry Bar in Mandeville. She prepared for her photo shoot by relaxing and having her hair and makeup professionally done by Madison Carrington. We were able to see a different side of Michelle by asking her a few questions that weren’t a part of the EW interview.

SW: What did you have for breakfast this morning?

MS: A “green” drink—spinach, avocado, blueberry, flax, sugar-free vanilla pudding and stevia. It tastes like pistachio ice-cream. Our 19-year-old came up with the base and it evolved.

SW: What were you doing before you arrived for hair and makeup?

MS: Work out around 5 a.m., go home and get ready, get my daughter off to school. Then to the office or court!

SW: What is your favorite song at the moment?

MS: “Oceans” by Hillsong United.

SW: Of what accomplishment are you proudest? MS: My kids, she said with a smile.

SW: If you were stranded on a desert island and could only take three things, what would you take?

MS: You’re going to laugh… my pink curlers, a container of salt (because if I’m going to eat something it has to have salt) and my Bible.
